Step 2: Getting Set Up at Home
After enrollment, our focus shifts to getting everything in place. Within the first day or two, here’s what to expect:
- Delivery of necessary medical equipment
- Medication orders placed by our hospice physician
- Initial visits from nurses, aides, and other team members
- Support for family members and caregivers
This stage moves quickly, but our staff will walk you through each piece, making sure nothing feels rushed or unclear.
Step 3: Settling into Care
Once everything is set up, hospice care becomes more routine. The number of visits per week depends on the patient’s needs, and our team works with you to create a schedule that provides comfort, dignity, and peace.
