You Are Not Alone in Your Grief
Maxcare Hospice and the Supportive Care Services Foundation (SCS) invite you to our grief support group, which meets both in person and online. It is a safe, caring space where families and loved ones can find comfort, connection and healing after a loss. The group is free, and you don’t need to have been a Maxcare Hospice family to join.
How It Works
- When: the first and third Tuesday of each month at 2:00 pm Pacific Time.
- Where: online through Google Meet, or in person at our office, 13800 Arizona St #201, Westminster, CA 92683.
- Who can join: any family member, caregiver or loved one who is grieving.
- Cost: free.

What to Expect
- A welcoming group led by trained bereavement staff.
- Gentle conversations about grief, healing and hope.
- You can share if you’re comfortable, or simply listen. Both are fine.
- Understanding and connection with people who know what loss feels like.
Joining Online for the First Time
If you’ve never used Google Meet, open the link a few minutes early on a phone, tablet or computer. You can keep your camera off. If video isn’t practical, you can join by phone. Many people find it easier to start online and come in person later.
Coming in Person
In-person attendees meet at our Westminster office on Arizona Street. If you are unsure whether to come, you are welcome to sit in once and decide later. No one is expected to speak, and you can step out whenever you need to.

- Remind you that healing is possible, at your own pace.
