- Chi phí hospice như thế nào?
- Với người có Medicare Phần A và đủ điều kiện, quyền lợi hospice của Medicare chi trả việc chăm sóc liên quan đến bệnh nan y, gồm các lần y tá thăm khám, thuốc giảm đau và giảm triệu chứng, và dụng cụ y tế. Có thể có một khoản đồng trả nhỏ cho một số loại thuốc và cho dịch vụ chăm sóc thay thế (respite). Chúng tôi sẽ cùng gia đình xem lại bảo hiểm trước khi bắt đầu chăm sóc.
- Nếu cần giúp đỡ vào ban đêm hoặc cuối tuần thì sao?

- Ba mẹ tôi đang ở nhà board-and-care hoặc viện điều dưỡng, có nhận hospice được không?
- Được. Hospice đến chăm sóc tại nơi người thân đang sống, kể cả nhà dưỡng lão (assisted living), nhà board-and-care và viện điều dưỡng.
